It has been an honor to serve as the Solicitor (District Attorney) for Horry and Georgetown counties for the past 14 years. In addition to prosecuting some of our most dangerous criminals, I have learned to deliver government services on a budget (we have operated under budget every year), how to successfully negotiate with adversaries, and how to tackle difficult problems through innovation. Government can do a better job even on a budget.
